With more than thirty years of extensive experience across various sectors of the healthcare industry, both nationally and internationally, I bring a wealth of practical knowledge and insights. My journey as a consultant psychiatrist, specializing in forensic psychiatry, has provided me with rewarding collaborations across diverse psychiatric units in both the National Health Services (NHS) and the independent sectors. The invaluable expertise I've gathered has been instrumental in delivering psychiatric evaluations and reports for family court cases throughout England and Wales.
 

My wealth of experience is truly trans-cultural, painting a rich tapestry of understanding that spans several continents. Born and initially trained in the vibrant landscapes of Jamaica, my medical journey began to take shape in the Bahamas. It was the United Kingdom, however, that refined and honed my specialty in psychiatry, a testament to the diverse and extensive learning experiences these different locations provided.

Further adding to this cultural kaleidoscope is my invaluable work in dynamic inner-city areas such as Birmingham and Manchester, where I had the privilege of serving a broad spectrum of cultural diversity. These interactions enriched my perspective and allowed me to not just work with, but also learn from a wide array of cultures.

This wealth of trans-cultural experiences forms a key pillar of my approach to healthcare, shaping a worldview that is both inclusive and empathetic.

However, my journey doesn't stop with my work in the mental health field. An entrepreneur at heart, I have also dipped my toes in property investment, becoming an active player in service accommodations via Green Diamond Properties Ltd since 2018. We are proud to offer fully furnished, high-quality properties, perfect for professionals and individuals relocating within the UK.

Parallelly, I've also been leading my venture, Honey Pot 2021 Ltd., providing housing services to vulnerable groups since 2021. This further underlines my commitment to mental health and supporting those transitioning from challenging circumstances, such as prison system and care leavers.

But as we journey into 2023, my sights are firmly set on the frontier of Artificial Intelligence and its post-Covid implications for health and social care sectors. The devastating impact of the pandemic has only solidified my resolve to explore innovative AI-powered solutions that could reshape how we approach healthcare, especially mental health.  With unyielding resolve, I am devoted to transforming healthcare narratives, constructing resilient bridges over the turbulent waters of professional burnout, stress, and anxiety disorders, with Artificial Intelligence as the bedrock.
